Delsbo Electric is a unique student competition that drives the development of innovative transport solutions on rail. By bringing together students, researchers, and companies, a platform for collaboration, innovation, and recruitment of technical expertise is created. At the same time, the competition inspires children and young people to explore the possibilities of technology.

Goals and ambitions
The project aims to increase the number of participating schools, including internationally, and establish Delsbo Electric as a meeting place for research and business. The competition should also serve as a bridge between education and working life by facilitating internships and thesis projects. Additionally, a five-step approach is being developed to spark interest in technology among children and young people.

Activities and implementation
To achieve these goals, needs assessments, competition development, and recruitment of new participants are carried out. Study trips, marketing, and information efforts strengthen engagement, while the competition's results are documented to spread innovative ideas in sustainable transport.
