Purpose of the project
The purpose of the project is to highlight good examples of rural development and to work on developing new forms of meetings and methods for collaboration within rural development, thereby also creating conditions for increased immigration to the area.
During the project, we will work on developing a methodology to encourage more actors to start projects that lead to rural development through lectures and study trips.
The project will influence and create a positive image of the countryside and contribute to creating an attractive place to live, work, and thrive. A place that attracts capital, competence, and drive.
We want to inspire more to realize their ideas
In the project, we want to create contexts and meeting places for Hälsingebygden's Rural Builders through, among other things, a Rural Builder Day to enable collaborations and provide knowledge and inspiration.
We will produce image and film material with Rural Builders in Hälsingebygden to inspire more to realize their ideas. Over time, we want to increase pride among these individuals and demonstrate that together we can achieve more!
The concept of Rural Builders was created by Leader Höga Kusten in 2017, and over a dozen Leader areas are working with the concept.
We will release a series of films about Rural Builders around the Leader area during 2023–2024
We highlight entrepreneurs, passionate individuals, and enthusiasts from the three sectors of Leaders: private, public, and non-profit.
Our Leader area includes Hälsingland's six municipalities as well as the eastern part of Härjedalen's municipality with the villages of Ytterhogdal, Överhogdal, Ängersjö, and Älvros.
