About the project
Purpose
The purpose of the project is to strengthen collaboration between businesses, the municipality, property owners, associations, and residents, as well as to develop a documented development plan and methods to strengthen Ljusdal's center.
Goals
The goal of the project is to create a development plan, conduct two seminars/trainings, and develop a vision for Ljusdal's center.
Activities
The project begins with a kickoff that includes a city walk, workshop, and formation of startup working groups. Thereafter, a current situation analysis and study visits to locations that have successfully implemented projects will be conducted. The project also includes planning and implementation of seminars on place development and the initiation of a pilot case. Furthermore, a business plan and an action plan will be developed, and letters of intent will be written. The project also includes budget work and work on financing solutions, where a development fund is being investigated. Communication and anchoring will occur continuously throughout the process. The project also includes administration, accounting, and report writing.
💬 What does the project mean for the community?
– It means a lot for the community that we can gather and develop the place we live in. Everyone can participate and influence through ideas, inspiration, and by contributing themselves. We are now organizing ourselves to continue to link arms going forward – and without support from Leader this would not have been possible, says the project manager Carina Janars from Ljusdal in the Center.
