It is with great sadness that we announce and deeply regret the passing of our chairman Kenneth Nilshem. Our thoughts go out to Kenneth's loved ones.
Kenneth, who represented the public sector, most recently stepped into the role of chairman for Leader Utveckling Hälsingebygden in May 2025, with great commitment, experience, and competence. Prior to that, he was chairman of previous leader associations between 2008 and 2014.
With a strong commitment to the countryside in Hälsingland, he has over the years worked as a rural strategist in Söderhamn municipality and has been involved in a number of associations, such as Norrlandsförbundet, Hela Sverige Ska Leva, and Bygdegårdarnas Riksförbund. Kenneth has also been the chairman of the regional council and held several political positions in Bollnäs municipality.
Until the annual meeting, Marie Centerwall is the acting chairman.
