Krype pasture – a place for knowledge acquisition about animals, nature and food production
Gävleborgs Fäbodförening works in the project to preserve and spread knowledge about fäbodbruk, including animal husbandry, food production, culture and nature. The purpose is for more people to take part in the practical fäbod operation and the intangible cultural heritage, such as traditional customs and practices.
About the project
Gävleborgs Fäbodförening works to preserve and spread knowledge about fäbodbruk, including animal husbandry, food production, culture and nature. The purpose is for more people to take part in the practical fäbod operation and the intangible cultural heritage, such as traditional customs and practices.
The goals include:
- A concept for knowledge transfer, particularly aimed at children, about animals, nature and food production at fäbod.
- To develop Krype fäbod into a functioning and well-preserved place where visitors can experience and learn about the traditions of fäbod life.
