Creative garden – Stenegård
The project aims to develop Barnens Stenegård into a more attractive and educational place for children through sustainable methods, physical design, and experiences that convey Hälsingland's cultural heritage.
About the project
The purpose of the project is to:
- The purpose of the project is to strengthen the attractiveness and ensure the quality of the offerings in the area ”Children's Stenegård” through thematic product development, physical planning and design, as well as sustainable processes and concepts. The applicant wants to create sustainable methods and models that provide children with knowledge about Hälsingland's cultural heritage through learning experiences.
Goals of the project:
- There is an established and proven method for play, creativity, and sustainable development in ”Children's Stenegård”.
- There is a plan/drawing for a physical construction in ”Children's Stenegård” for learning knowledge transfer.
- Adventure hiking for children and dramatized guiding for adults are available on site.
- There is updated digital information (website) about the new products/experiences for marketing.
- Preschools and schools in the region are invited to Children's Stenegård during the project period to take part in the project's results, learning knowledge transfer of our cultural heritage.
The project's activities to achieve the purpose and goals of the project:
- Implementation of workshops and a ”Trust Day” as part of developing methods for play, creativity, and sustainable development.
- Purchased service to carry out planning and design of a physical space at Stenegård where knowledge transfer of our cultural heritage will take place for children and youth.
- Purchased service to carry out an update of the digital information that shows what experiences a visitor can expect.
- Purchased service to develop scripts, costumes, and implementation of adventure hiking for children as well as a dramatized guiding for adults.
The project's total budget is 780,620 SEK, where Development Hälsingebygden finances the project with 718,120 SEK, and the project will generate revenue that finances 62,500 SEK of the project's cost.
