Development Svedbovallen

The project aims to develop a model to revitalize local places through collaboration between actors. The model is being tested at Svedbovallen and includes cultural events, experience products for children, and craft courses. Investments are being made in buildings and the model will be made available to others.

About the project

The project aims to develop a model to revitalize important local places through collaboration between public, non-profit, and private actors. The model will be tested and validated in the cultural-historical environment at Svedbovallen. The goals include developing a validated model for place development, conducting at least three innovative cultural events, and developing at least six experience products for children and youth with a focus on learning about cultural heritage. The project will also work on four courses in traditional crafts related to the mountain pasture culture. To support the activities, investments will be made in buildings such as cooking houses, dairies, wind shelters, and solar energy solutions. Activities include collaboration with universities and educational coordinators, idea generation, concept development, and implementation of training and cultural events. Finally, an evaluation will be conducted and the model will be made available for others to use.
